Mass Casualty Decontamination (MCD) Training
Access an intensive, 24-hour, Department of Homeland Security (DHS)-approved course in mass casualty decontamination through GP. Our training covers equipment use as well as principles and procedures of ambulatory and non-ambulatory victim decontamination from the point of initial attack through transportation of the victims. This course also includes high-energy practical exercises with realistic scenarios to reinforce objectives.

Our Domestic Preparedness Training Assistance Program (DPETAP) instructors and technicians have experience with a wide range of mass casualty decontamination equipment. This equipment includes air shelters, rigid frame, commercial ensembles based on NFPA and OSHA standards and jurisdiction-specific. Also included are associated blevets, water heaters, runoff containment, and decontamination solutions. Our experience also includes patient identification, re-dress, and transport. Our close relationship with equipment manufacturers means that you have the latest information on best practices and lessons learned on your equipment.
