Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Explosive (CBRNE) Detection Training

Leverage the strength of GP’s DPETAP $5.5 million dollar detection, protection, and response equipment cache to support your technical assistance training and assessment needs. Our equipment cache is the largest in the nation outside of the Department of Defense. It’s backed by a sizeable team of instructors and technicians—as well as significant assets—to support even the largest technical assistance requests.

Using this cache of equipment, GP delivers more than 40 hands-on technical assistance training courses and practical exercises to help your team learn the capabilities, limitations, operation, and preventive and corrective maintenance of chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosives (CBRNE) detection and response equipment. Our Department of Homeland Security (DHS)-approved courses cover CBRNE detection and response, from awareness courses that introduce first responders to CBRNE methods, risks, and effects to courses that help optimize the performance of your equipment and your overall CBRNE preparedness and response efforts.

These courses will help jurisdictions meet the following capability-specific priority outlined in the Department of Homeland Security’s National Preparedness Goal: Strengthen Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive (CBRNE) Detection, Response, and Decontamination Capabilities.

Technical assistance training is delivered at your location through the DHS-sponsored Domestic Preparedness Equipment Training Assistance Program (DPETAP). Your responders are not required to go to a fixed-site training. Furthermore, our teams bring everything needed to convert your supplied classroom space into a suitable training environment. We provide the equipment being trained, allowing you to keep your equipment in service and ready to respond.

Access unmatched experience in CBRNE detection training.

The Domestic Preparedness Training Assistance Program (DPETAP) has been the on-staff technical assistance provider for the Department of Justice (DoJ) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) since 1999. Our DHS-authorized technical assistance training and services are one of the most requested services available from the DHS.

GP’s CBRNE Detection courses are available to private organizations as well as through the DPETAP
